ACTIVITIES

Activities can add an extra dimension to your safari, offering different ways to experience Tanzania beyond classic game drives. Sometimes that means slowing down and walking through the landscape, sometimes discovering wildlife after dark, or engaging more closely with local cultures.

Alex lives in the Arusha area, close to many of Tanzania’s northern parks. From there, he has guided safaris across the country for many years and understands when and where certain activities truly add value.

Activities are never added just to fill time, they are chosen carefully to enhance the flow and balance of your journey.

Below is an overview of activities Alex regularly offers or integrates into his safaris. If there is something specific you are interested in that is not listed here, everything can be discussed. Personal advice is always part of the process.

The Glades of Tanzania Safaris was founded by Alex Mwamba, a professional safari guide who has spent his life exploring Tanzania’s landscapes.
